 Most usefull camp tool December 11, 2009

Ive caried a machete when Im out doors for a long time and had to replace my old one. Im a big cold steel fan and have been happy with all the products I own from them. This machete goes threw wood like a good hatchet better in some way, I see myself useing this tool for years to come.

A sax would have had an angle rather than a curve for the tip. This thing has no bevel. They just sharpened a rather thick slab of metal. It is rather heavy. The handle is good. The sheath is okay. I haven't actually done anything with it yet but the weight and thick edge make me very leery of it.
